When I train or lecture, therapists, patients and families ask me to recommend books that will help them understand the brain, addiction and therapy. I have collected many of these books here, each with a terse review. If you order from Amazon (by clicking on the links provided here and then purchasing one of the recommended books), I do make a small profit (pennies per book). This is the only area of the site that that contains any commercial content and it is the only area that generates revenue. This small revenue partly offsets the cost of site maintenance.
