The conference was titled On the Road to Wellness: Dealing with Addiction Disease in Dentistry. At the conference, the Royal College of Dentistry, regulators, the dental colleges of all of the Canadian provinces and interested parties gathered together to discuss the best method of managing addiction among Canadian dental providers. Addiction in healthcare professionals is an occupational hazard. Information in this lecture is applicable to any type of healthcare professional as well as the general public.
